Joe Satriani’s Ibanez S1XXV 25th Anniversary

Joe Satriani has donated his personal Ibanez S1XXV 25th Anniversary guitar to be auctioned for the Benefit for Tony.

The Ibanez S series was originally released in 1986 and Joe’s personal 25th Anniversary reissue will transport you back to the days of Not Of This Earth. It has a bolt on 3 piece Wizard III maple neck with 24 jumbo frets. The body is mahogany, and the fluorescent yellow finish glows in the dark under UV light. It also comes equipped with the double-locking ZR tremolo and Zero Point System, and high-gain IBZ INF pickups.

Joe has signed the back of the body, and the back of the headstock. Joe’s used guitar picks are included.

Joe Satriani is the world’s most commercially successful solo guitar performer, with six gold and platinum discs to his credit (including one more gold award for the debut album by his band Chickenfoot), and sales in excess of 10 million copies. Satriani’s solo discography includes a host of GRAMMY-nominated classics, including 1987’s Surfing With The Alien, 1992’s The Extremist, and Super Colossal from 2006; and for songs such as “Always With Me, Always With You,” “The Crush Of Love,” and “Summer Song.”
